Apr 22, 2025This bill would allow towns to create Revolving Loan Funds (RLFs) as a source of capital to make direct loans to borrowers for installation and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. Proceeds from loan repayments flow back into the fund and become available to lend again, promoting the building and maintenance of more EV charging stations across the state. This bill also prohibits any person not driving an emergency vehicle from stopping, standing, or parking in a parking place designated for EVs.

Apr 22, 2025This bill authorizes towns to create revolving funds for installation and maintenance of electric vehicle charging stations. This is not a proper role for government. Private enterprise and capital can and should pay for vehicle fueling infrastructure.

IT IS MY ONLY VEHICLE. & I NEED TO GET AROUND THE STATE.

Apr 22, 2025NH's business community and NH's tourist industry need our electric vehicle charging infrastructure to be far more robust to make us an attractive place to accept employment and to choose for vacation. SB272 would help boost the development and the success of our EV charging infrastructure.
